This course operate in the Northern, Southwest and Eastern Regions. Community volunteers are trained to provide support and accommodation to young people unable to remain living at home due to issues such as family breakdown and abuse.
Anglicare Victoria is one of the States largest providers of care and support to children, young people and families in crisis. People turn to them for a variety of reasons a child unable to remain living in their home due to abuse, a homeless young person, a woman and the children escaping domestic violence, an unemployed couple unable to adequately feed their family to name just a few. To enable people to undertake this work, they rely heavily on the supporters who provide assistance in many ways, including through prayer, as volunteers and through making a financial contribution to their work.
