This programme equips you with skills in advocacy to assist both individuals and communities. Child and family services, community counselling agencies, disability services, aged care and local government councils are some of the many settings in which such skills can be applied.

The Jansen Newman Institute (JNI) was established in 1978 to provide professional education and training for counsellors and psychotherapists. JNI is also one of Sydney’s oldest private higher education institutions.
JNI offers Diplomas, Associate Degrees, Bachelor degrees and Graduate Diploma programmes in human resource management, community services, counselling and psychotherapy. These programmes can be undertaken on a full-time, part-time and correspondence basis.
JNI also provides professional counselling services.
