The Bachelor of Community Welfare and Counselling and Diploma of Community Services (Disability) is an integrated dual award degree which aims to provide students a skill based qualification in their chosen field of community services.
Students will study the two awards concurrently, undertaking the TAFE Diploma modules in their third year in place of Arts electives. This course is accredited by the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers (AIWCW) and equips students for competent and ethical community welfare and counselling practice. Graduates are qualified to work in the relevant field employed by the Victorian Department of Human Services.
Local and domestic students are required to enrol in their preferred programmes through the University Admissions Centre or Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre.
