About the institution
This double degree will help you to develop professional skills to manage and lead activities and events across the sport science and outdoor recreation industries. Specialisations include clinical exercise science, sport science or human movement, as well as a focus on sport management skills.

In our state-of-the-art exercise science laboratories and research facilities, you will build a comprehensive understanding of the science that underpins health, physical activity and exercise. You will learn to apply this knowledge to client assessments and in designing, implementing and evaluating exercise programs.

We offer cadetships with our partners, including the Western Bulldogs, Melbourne Storm and Maribyrnong College. This enables you to gain practical experience in a professional sports environment.
Application:
There are two main ways to apply for courses at Victoria University: through the Victoria Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTACVictorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) or by applying directly to VU.

Admission information:

Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 20 in English (any). Selection mode: CY12: ENTER and two stage process with a middle-band of approximately 20%. NONY12: Academic record, possible interview if required.
Located within walking distance from the Footscray railway station, this campus occupies a seven-hectare site next to parklands along the Maribyrnong River. It is the administrative centre of the University and is the largest of all the campuses.

Take a train to Footscray station, or a local bus. It's 10 minutes by car from the city centre.
