The Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) aims to provide you with advanced training in research or professional skills in your chosen area of study.
The course is based on a combination of advanced level units and a project that leads to a written dissertation, or a combination of advanced level units and a project that is a based on creative practice and exegesis (as appropriate). Students develop the capacity to transfer concepts and skills from the course to a range of professional and research environments.

Make sure you provide an accurate mailing address for University correspondence and keep it up to date. Failure to receive a notice because of change of address is not a sufficient excuse for missing a deadline or obligation. The University will deem that correspondence issued to your recorded mailing address has been received.
You must activate your QUT student email as it will be used for a range of correspondence and notification by the University including Library notices and fee statements.

The Kelvin Grove campus is located only two kilometres north of Brisbane's city centre. The campus is well serviced by buses, including the free QUT shuttle bus, and is a 20 minute walk from the Roma St Transit Centre. A circuit bus is available to help students move around Kelvin Grove campus.
