This course offers the chance to study the health and disease of the human body. Graduates play an important role in the search for cures and preventing many debilitating or life-threatening diseases.
Successful completion of this course could lead to entry into medicine or other allied health related courses.
You will gain in-depth knowledge of human physiology combined with skills in critical analysis and communication. Science studies include:

* pathophysiology
* immunology
* clinical genetics
This course also offers a fourth year (Honours) program, with the possibility of Masters and PhD.

Admission information:
You need to have an aptitude for science. VCE Units 3 and 4 English with a study score of at least 20 in English.
A study score of at least 25 in one or more health and human development, mathematics (any), physical education or science (any) = an aggregate 2 points higher per study, to a maximum 9 points.
McKechnie Street, St Albans
The extensive grounds of the 32 hectare St Albans Campus sit alongside Jones Creek and native grasslands dotted with sugar gums. The campus consists of contemporary buildings encircling a large piazza.
As well as arts and science programs, the campus has state-of-the-art research centres, including a sleep laboratory and a 'wet lab' for marine studies.
Take a train to St Albans station or take a local bus. It's 20-25 minutes by car from the city centre.
