This course provides the prerequisite year of tertiary study in social sciences for entry to the three year Bachelor of Social Work degree, which commences at second year.
Upon completion of this course you may either enter the Bachelor of Social Work or continue in second year of the Bachelor of Arts.

Admission information:
Satisfactory completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a grade average of D in English. Applicants may also apply on an Alternative Category Entry basis.
McKechnie Street, St Albans
The extensive grounds of the 32 hectare St Albans Campus sit alongside Jones Creek and native grasslands dotted with sugar gums. The campus consists of contemporary buildings encircling a large piazza.
As well as arts and science programs, the campus has state-of-the-art research centres, including a sleep laboratory and a 'wet lab' for marine studies.
Take a train to St Albans station or take a local bus. It's 20-25 minutes by car from the city centre.
