This bar course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to work in a fast-paced bar environment. Emphasis is placed on the development of practical skills during the course and is based on accredited modules. Topics covered include operate a Bar - prepare bar for service; take drink orders; prepare and serve drinks; close down bar operations. Responsible service of alcohol - identify customers to whom service may be refused; prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibility; assist customers to drink within appropriate limits and assist alcohol affected customers.
