A beginners introduction to working with wood. Topics include tool selection for a home workshop, care and sharpening of the candidates tools. Power tool use and finishing techniques will also be covered. Basic woodworking joints will be introduced when making 2 simple projects (cutting board and small step ladder) or choose their own project. Materials extra cost.
