This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to apply make-up for a range of purposes. You will learn skills in customer service, effective communication, demonstrating and selling products, designing and applying make-up, applying make-up for photography and camouflage of skin conditions for clients with special needs.
Students completing Beauty Therapy qualifications at our College gain the advantage of completing multiple qualifications. Our lecturers have given time to consider all associated courses which cover the same units, so students go away with both more skills and more qualifications. In addition, the course is delivered by experienced and current industry focussed lecturers. Practical hands-on learning in modern facilities simulates a realistic salon environment. General Enrolments for all qualifications offered at Durack Institute of Technology take place on:
1. Semester 1 General Enrolments 22 & 23 January
2. Students can also apply for a place in a course through TAFE Admissions.
This qualification is also available via Flexible Learning. What this means is that you can complete part or all of the qualification at a time and pace that suits you from your own location. You can enrol in this Flexible Learning qualification at any time of the year. You can also come see us personally at Training Support Services located in A Block (Geraldton Campus).
Currently enrolled students who wish to continue studying the same qualification will be advised by their lecturers to re-enrol towards the end of the semester.
