This qualification will provide you with skills and knowledge used in the automotive mechanical technology sector which includes inspection, service and repair. It also provides you with the opportunity to specialise in an industry sector by selecting the relevant descriptor specific to your enterprise requirements. You will learn skills contained in the units of competence relevant to the descriptors. You will also learn how to apply safe work practices and carry out diagnostic procedures.
Enrolment forms are available from Client Services and should be completed with assistance from the lecturer. Your Enrolment form must then be lodged at Client Services for processing and you will be required to pay fees at this time. EFTPOS facilities are available for payments and you can also pay by credit card over the telephone.
It is essential that clients check their copy of the Enrolment form to ensure that their enrolment details are correct. Any errors should be reported immediately to Client Services.
Pilbara TAFE enrolments generally take place in late January and in July. Students may, however, be able to enrol at other times. If you are studying in the flexible learning mode you can enrol at any time.
