The Ararat campus of NMIT (Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE) is located in one of Victoria’s most historical wine growing districts. This region is noted for its exceptional sparkling wines, fruit-filled whites and full-bodied reds. Wines from the region have won numerous awards both nationally and internationally. Twenty-eight hectares of vines were first planted at the Ararat campus with the first vintage in 2005.
