This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to move stock or transport passengers between destinations by road. You will learn skills to handle stock safely, operate vehicle carrying special loads, organise despatch and receival operations, estimate/calculate mass, area and quantify dimensions, and implement and monitor OHS procedures. You will also learn about security and emergency procedures, maintaining freight records and leading a small team.
General Enrolments for all qualifications offered at Durack Institute of Technology take place on:
1. Semester 1 General Enrolments 22 & 23 January
2. Students can also apply for a place in a course through TAFE Admissions.
This qualification is also available via Flexible Learning. What this means is that you can complete part or all of the qualification at a time and pace that suits you from your own location. You can enrol in this Flexible Learning qualification at any time of the year. You can also come see us personally at Training Support Services located in A Block (Geraldton Campus).
Currently enrolled students who wish to continue studying the same qualification will be advised by their lecturers to re-enrol towards the end of the semester.
