About the institution
Most professional photographers work freelance. Some specialise in news and PR, sport, wedding or travel images; others provide images to stock agencies. This course explores all the options open to freelance photographers and the skills required to make a living from them.

You will learn the basics of digital photography, key lighting principles and copywriting skills. The course also addresses the ideas and shots that appeal to editors and other clients, the importance of having a suitable work space, and the roles that negotiation, marketing and self-promotion play.

Extras
On completion of your course, you'll receive an all-important 12-month Australian News Syndicate media pass (valued at $50) that clearly states your credentials and provides a useful form of identification in the industry.
Students are required to enroll via Cengage Education's website and pay for their course via Cengage Education's secured payment system.
