This Certificate in Information Processing - Advanced course enables students to build their knowledge of desktop publishing, word processing and spreadsheets to a standard required by most management and senior support staff. It will allow students to enhance and convert their basic Windows application skills.

The topics covered in this certificate course are:
* MS Word tools and techniques such as importing data, style and table of contents, table and mail merge and macros,
* MS Excel tools and techniques such as database lists, consolidation techniques, validation of data, nested functions and macros and
* MS Publisher tools and techniques such as publication layouts, text frames, border art and Word art, graphics and drawing, page numbering, headers and footers.
