This specialised Open Colleges course will teach you various techniques for maintaining attractive, healthy nails, and give you an insight into professional practice.
You will learn how to perform basic manicures and pedicures, including aftercare. You will also learn how to apply nail art techniques to create designs featuring flowers, striping and rhinestones. You will also be trained in health and safety, client care and hygiene in the context of nail technology, and learn about the structure of the nail and how to recognise and treat certain conditions and diseases.
