Open Colleges' (formerly Cengage Education) Photography course is suited to both beginners and keen photographers who wish to bring an element of professional expertise to their work.
You will learn how to select the right camera for your needs, apply artificial lighting to good effect, and follow simple guidelines for basic photographic composition.
The technical aspects of developing, processing and printing images are covered in some depth, and you will also be trained to use digital cameras and image processing software. Creative assessments will enable you to practise and progress your skills under the tutelage of an award-winning freelance photographer.
A photography textbook is also included in the course fee.
Students are required to enroll via Cengage Education's website and pay for their course via Cengage Education's secured payment system.
