The Certificate IV in Audiometric Assessment course provides the skills needed to perform hearing screenings and assessments to identify hearing impairment, and take appropriate action. At this level you do not prescribe or dispense hearing aids and you are not qualified to work as an independent practitioner. You will be required, on joining this course, to submit a Prohibited Employment Declaration enabling you to take part in any work based or practical activities. You can do this qualification as part of a traineeship.
