The Certificate IV in Cast Technology course is designed for experienced cast technicians who wish to strengthen their credentials with a nationally recognised qualification.
Recognised by the Australian Orthopaedic Technicians Association, the qualification will broaden your knowledge of your role within the health care industry, especially your duty of care and legal and ethical responsibilities. You will learn about safe working practices and basic cast technology, and then move on to advanced applications and techniques. Communicating effectively with various patient types and presentations is an important component of the course.
