We’ll provide you with the knowledge and skills required to help athletes recover from training sessions and assist with rehabilitation after injury.

You’ll learn how to: work within a massage framework; comply with infection control policies and procedures; apply massage assessment, appropriate pre-event and post-event techniques, myofascial tension techniques, appropriate stretching techniques, trigger point techniques and temperature therapy; and provide and plan massage treatment.

You’ll also learn how to apply sport and recreation law; operate computing packages; make referrals to other health care professionals; and create and nurture client relationships.
