This course introduces students to computers in a supportive environment. They will begin with how to turn the computer on, how to use a mouse and keyboard, and go on to discover all the clever things a computer can do. Acquire a basic grounding in Microsoft Word, an introduction to Excel, learn how to use internet and their e-maill. They will become a confident user of the new technology.
Students must contact the community centre directly to enrol for their course of interest.
This is a place for the whole community, where communication, friendship and social contact can be fostered in a welcoming environment. Located at 14 Willis St in Hampton, at the rear of the Hampton Street shopping centre, the Centre is easily accessible by public transport, with Hampton train station and bus hub close by.
