About the institution
Apprenticeship Access is a Government funded program which will give you up to six months of nationally recognised training and practical experience in Engineering with the option to focus your skill development on either mechanical engineering (e.g. fitting and turning) or fabrication (e.g. boilermaking). This programme provides participants with a good pathway into an Australian Apprenticeship.

This course is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
1. When you have selected your preferred course to undertake, check that you have met the entry requirements and have the necessary documents needed for the enrollment. If you do not meet the entry requirements, call Career Australia to find out about bridging subjects or classes that would aid your entry into the programme.

2. Contact Careers Australia to confirm on the course's location, commencement dates and fees. These information are subject to changes.

International students:
Some courses offered by Careers Australia are not applicable to international students, while some short courses that are less than three (3) months may not require a student visa. Please ensure that you check your visa eligibility with Careers Australia or the appointed Careers Australia representative before submitting an application.

3. Download the enrolment form from Careers Australia's website, and send it back to Careers Australia. The details are included in the application form.

4. Once your application has been assessed and is successful, you will receive a confirmation from Careers Australia. Some courses may require you to purchase textbooks or uniforms prior to the classes' start dates, please ensure that you have these items ready before you start the course.
