This course is an orientation to literacy, numeracy, and communication skills for pre-literate non English speaking background learners. There is also a focus on settlement issues.

This campus is nestled in the foothills of Mt Dandenong. The campus offers TAFE programs in the areas of social sciences, business, community services, children's services, computing, building, recreation and a large variety of short courses. This campus also has a particular focus on youth, offering the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), VCE and VET in the VCE programs, as well as a range of apprenticeships and First Stop. Features of the campus are centre for health and wellbeing, building barns, first stop (is a free advisory service that helps young people make decisions about further education, training and employment pathways. First Stop acts as the first point of contact for young people who require assistance and information about the options available to them), conference facilities (conference centre offering a wide range of meeting and conference spaces, training rooms, catering and the latest audio visual equipment).
