"This course is aimed at managers, supervisors, Health and Safety Representatives, employer representatives and Occupational Health and Safety administrators. This full day program provides a practical analysis of the Dangerous Goods Act 1985, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007 - Part 4.1 Hazardous Substances and the Dangerous Goods (Storage and Handling) Regulations 2000. Upon completion of this training program, participants should be able to: Differentiate between Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances and explain their relationship to each other - Develop systems that comply with the legislative obligations concerned with Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances, including those relating to storage and handling Consider the health and safety implications of dealing with Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances when establishing systems of management.
