About the institution
This course is for people who want to acquire knowledge and skills to pursue employment and/or further training in a range of business areas. It covers skills using current business technology, writing and communication, improving work practices, maintaining workplace safety, organising self and others. There is a wide choice of electives, but you will need to check with your local college to determine the electives offered.

Orange College is a major regional centre offering a wide range of trade programs, as well as courses in access and general education, business, community services, hospitality, information technology and management, with many at diploma level. The college specialises in accounting, children's services, conservation earthworks, fine arts, fitting and machining, HSC, hairdressing, horticulture, music, plumbing, painting and decorating, real estate, shop-fitting, sign writing, travel, turf management, viticulture, welding and welfare.

Orange College operates out of three sites. The main campus is located at March Street (A) where the majority of courses are offered. The Anson Street Annexe (B) offers courses in carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, shop-fitting and sign writing. The Rural Skills Centre is located in Forest Road (C) opposite the entrance to Bloomfield Hospital and offers a range of primary industries and natural resources courses including, agriculture, animal studies conservation earthworks, conservation and land management, horticulture, turf management, veterinary nursing, viticulture and wool classing.
