This class teaches both felting and machine and hand sewing techniques. Students will learn to design and felt a hood which will then be blocked using wooden millinery blocks. The hat will then be finished off using millinery techniques of wiring and binding. This will involve the use of sewing machines and hand sewing. Students will also learn to design and create trims and embellishments to complete the hat.
