The aim of this course is to enable participants to collect and evaluate information relating to workplace emergencies so that work systems can be upgraded to ensure management can meet its responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy workplace. On completion of this course participants should be able to: Describe how risk management applies to workplace emergencies, Outline what is expected to occur during the event of an emergency and Explain the requirements of an emergency fire procedure. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course. A Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment will be issued to those who successfully complete the workplace based project as part of the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
