The Diploma of Accounting course contains 20 units. These are the units that will be covered in the course:

- Contribute to Occupational Health and Safety hazard identification and risk,
- Make decisions in a legal context,
- Apply principle of professional practice in financial services,
- Carry out BAS and IAS tasks,
- Establish and maintain a payroll system,
- Set up and operate a computerised accounting system,
- Establish and maintain accounting information systems,
- Process financial transactions and extract reports,
- Prepare financial reports,
- Prepare financial statements for non reporting entities,
- Prepare financial reports for corporate entities,
- Provide financial and business performance information,
- Manage budgets and forecasts,
- Provide management accounting info systems,
- Evaluate business performance,
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures,
- Prepare tax returns for individuals,
- Prepare complex tax returns and
- Implement tax plans and evaluate tax compliance.
