The Diploma of Children's Services produces graduates that have a well-developed knowledge of child development, the socio-cultural context of families and an understanding of their implications for caring and learning.
This program prepares qualified children's services personnel to take up positions of responsibility and provide high quality care and education for children aged between 0 and 6 years in a wide range of childcare settings.
Program content covers the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and educational needs of infants and young children, supporting the rights and safety of children, supporting the well being of infants, planning care routines, child development, foster children's cognitive development and develop student's programming skills.

QTAC applications must be received by the last Friday of September for programs starting first semester the following year or before the end of May for programs starting second semester in the current year.
