The Diploma of Nursing program will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge to work as an Enrolled Nurse in a variety of health care settings, such as public and private hospitals, or in the community. You will learn how to implement basic nursing care, assess clients' health, and analyse health related information.
Learn how to administer and monitor medications, and care for older clients, acute care clients and people with mental health conditions.
In addition, you will develop effective communication skills and learn how to work within legal and ethical parameters in nursing.
Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to apply for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

The Brisbane North Institute of TAFE (BNIT) offers an extensive range of programs from certificates, to diplomas and advanced diplomas. Apprenticeships and traineeships are also available at BNIT, where students can learn and gain qualifications while they work. Short courses to upgrade career skills or develop talents can be accessed through BNIT and TAFE Open Learning.
