About the institution
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences are purely research only. Prior to formal application, intending applicants need to give consideration to the specific research topic they wish to investigate. This should be determined in consultation with a member of the academic staff of the Faculty to see whether the Faculty can provide the appropriate supervision. The candidate must be familiar enough with the relevant research area to be able to undertake specialised study in that field.
To enrol in your subject it is best to first check what your recommended study program is for your degree. Once you know what you should be enrolled in visit eStudent. eStudent is the online enrolment facility used by Bond University. You can follow the instructions to learn how to get started, select your lectures and tutorial days and times, and then print your class timetable.
New students can enrol now assuming you have accepted your offer and paid your deposit. Students who intend studying full time should attempt to choose a full time enrolment. Students can change their enrolment up to Friday of Week 2.
If you are unsure of the subjects you want to study next semester you should consult your Faculty program advisor.

Students can obtain assistance with enrolment at the Enrolment Hub during Orientation Week or by visiting Student Administration.
If you have any questions regarding the enrolment process please contact Student Administration via email enrolment.enquiries@bond.edu.au or telephone (+61) 7 5595 4049.
Bond University is set on a 49.86 hectare campus at Robina on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Created in the traditions of the world’s leading private universities, a series of grand sandstone faculty buildings line a landscaped promenade leading down to the tranquil man-made lake.
Lecture theatres, case study rooms and tutorial rooms are conveniently located in the University Centre building; several student restaurants, cafes and bars circle the lake; and on-campus accommodation is within easy walking distance of all university faculties.
The study facilities here are world-class, incorporating high-tech lecture theatres, the latest broadband and wifi computer connections, and libraries that are ranked among Australia’s best.
Complementing these academic features, you’ll find a comprehensive selection of recreational and social outlets that encourage interaction between tudents outside the classroom.
