This course incorporates Certificate I in Engineering and Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical. Skills covered in this course are applying safe working practices; applying environmental regulations and best practice in a workplace or business; implementing and monitoring environmental regulations in the automotive mechanical industry; applying principles of OHS in the work environment; planning to undertake routine tasks; applying quality procedures; working with others in a manufacturing, engineering or related environment; plus electives and specialisation units.
The student lounge is located off the main foyer. There is no cafeteria service on campus, a vending machine, coke machine and cafe bar are available in the student lounge. Although no food is provided, there is a microwave and toaster oven that they can use if they would like to bring their own food.
