About the institution
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of drawing by observation for realism. They will learn the basic approaches, techniques, skills and media used in drawing eg. proportion and angles, linear drawing, observing a variety of shapes. They will also be introduced to the use of tone in realism. MATERIALS: A2 sketch pad, 4 sheets A1 cartridge paper, selection of pencils (eg. 2B, 4B, 6B), eraser, natural and compressed charcoals, white conte stick, 1 sheet of grey canvas paper mid tone, masking tape.

Norwood Parade has a cosmopolitan mix of restaurants, cafes, cinemas, boutiques, and a huge variety of shops and services for all students needs. It is only minutes from the city centre of Adelaide on Bus route 123/124 where students can explore the gourmet delights of the Central Markets and the cultural institutions of North Terrace amongst many other attractions.
