This course is designed to meet Part B (Commercial) of the requirement of the licensing authority, Energy Safe Victoria and is a pre-condition to applying for registration as an electrical contractor.
Students should complete the application form and attach documents such as: translated and certified copies of academic qualifications, English language assessment and a summary of any work experience. Applicants must attach a non-refundable application fee of A$100 by bank draft to South West Institute of TAFE or the payment can also be made by credit card by completing the relevant section on the Application Form. This campus is also home to Meat Training Australia (MTA), delivering specialist training in meat retailing and meat processing. The building redevelopment project is now in its final stage and on completion will see the Department of Arts relocated back from the current Fletcher Jones site.
