About the institution
This is an intensive academic English program which will give the skills needed for entry into further study at a Diploma or Bachelor level. This course emphasises raising students language skills from conversational to academic.

It will introduce them to fundamental skills that are required for research at a higher education level such as; collection of information from a variety of sources, documentation of research, critical analysis, report writing, discussion and oral presentation.

The course includes two self directed academic projects, as well as skills based classes that focus on academic reading and writing, listening and note taking skills, research skills, study skills and exam preparation.

This course is accredited by the National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme (NEAS).
1. When you have selected your preferred course to undertake, check that you have met the entry requirements and have the necessary documents needed for the enrollment. If you do not meet the entry requirements, call Career Australia to find out about bridging subjects or classes that would aid your entry into the programme.

2. Contact Careers Australia to confirm on the course's location, commencement dates and fees. These information are subject to changes.

International students:
Some courses offered by Careers Australia are not applicable to international students, while some short courses that are less than three (3) months may not require a student visa. Please ensure that you check your visa eligibility with Careers Australia or the appointed Careers Australia representative before submitting an application.

3. Download the enrolment form from Careers Australia's website, and send it back to Careers Australia. The details are included in the application form.

4. Once your application has been assessed and is successful, you will receive a confirmation from Careers Australia. Some courses may require you to purchase textbooks or uniforms prior to the classes' start dates, please ensure that you have these items ready before you start the course.
