This course aims to develop students critical understanding and control of the English language so that they can use it in a wide range of situations, from the personal and informal, to more public occasions. English also aims to develop a level of competence adequate for the demands of post school employment and further education. Literature involves the reading and analysis of a variety of texts. A theatre excursion is also undertaken.
