This program is aimed at people who are nominated as Fire Safety Advisor�s in accordance with the Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008. Students will gain the knowledge and skills for responding to emergency evacuation processes, emergency prevention and emergency management to minimise the risk of injury or death that can occur in fires and hazardous incidents.
Hervey Bay campus is the Institute's specialist centre for Years 11 and 12 High School Studies, Visual Arts, Hospitality and Fitness and Recreation. Business, Retail and Information Technology departments are also located at the Urraween Road campus. One of the unique aspects of the Hervey Bay campus is the fact that it offers Years 11 and 12 High School Studies. On campus are workshops for Metal Fabrication and Machining, Automotive, and Carpentry (Furnishing).
