The Food Safety Supervisor Upgrade to Aged Care and Community Service Qualification course is designed for those working in the Aged Care or Community Services sector. The upgrade involves being assessed on existing experience and knowledge with an emphasis on infection control and audit requirements.
This can be undertaken by way of completing this distance learning course where the participant supplies evidence to demonstrate their competence against the relevant units. This can be achieved by an over the phone interview with our facilitator and providing evidence of existing knowledge and skills.
Students who successfully complete these units will be accredited with:
• HLTFS207B Follow basic food safety practices,
• HLTFS309B Oversee the day-to-day implementation of food safety in the workplace and
• HLTFS310B Apply and monitor food safety requirements.

The campus is located 100 metres from the Geelong Railway Station and all Geelong buses stop in the city centre.
