This course is for people who want to improve their chances of entering the workforce or doing further study. The course has a flexible attendance pattern and a wide range of units of competency which develop your work-related skills and general education.

You must complete two core units. The rest of the course hours are made up of electives from a wide range of areas.

You can study the course part-time or full-time. You should talk to a course coordinator or student counsellor before you enrol in this course.

People seeking to enrol in the unit of competency, HLTFA301B, Apply first aid are advised that to successfully complete the unit they must be able to perform basic life support skills, for example control bleeding and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

People who have a disability that would prevent them from performing required basic life support skills are advised that they will not be able to achieve the unit of competency.
