About the institution
The primary outcome of this course is to develop within the learner knowledge, skills, techniques and appropriate attitudes necessary to carry out construction tasks and processes, in a safe and efficient manner and to standards of quality and finish described in the units of competency that form this qualification. The course will enable pre-vocational learners in this general construction course to complete their training, by applying their skills and knowledge to projects in new housing construction, maintenance and repair, additions/alterations and renovation. This is a Statement of Attainment course.
An application is not required for this course. Students can simply fill out an enrolment form and attend the college on the enrolment day.
