This unit provides a practical and analytical study of the broad genres of Naturalism, Realism, Expressionism and Experimental Theatre, concentrating on the skills and influences pertinent to each. Topics include: the performance styles, theoretical basis and historical context of Naturalist Theatre, Stanislavski, Realism (Kitchen Sink Theatre), Expressionist Theatre, Epic Theatre (Brecht), Absurd Theatre, Theatre of Cruelty, and Experimental Theatre; and analysis from a Christian perspective.
Students download the application form, print out and fill in the application form. Write a 250-word statement outlining their spiritual background, significant life experiences, and reason for applying at Tabor Adelaide and mail it to Student Services, Tabor Adelaide.
Tabor Adelaide is housed in historic heritage listed buildings which are National Trust listed and have served in the past as an orphanage and more recently an Education Centre. The campus is located within three kilometers of the Adelaide CBD on a main bus route. It is located in a pleasant residential area and is surrounded by beautiful parklands.
