This course teaches people who are blind or have low vision to use braille more extensively including for study, at work and for recreational reading. Grade II Braille includes a large number of contractions (where one braille sign represents two or more letters), and shortforms (abbreviations). This results in a shorter length of text, allowing people to read and/or write it much faster than at Grade I level.
