About the institution
The Graduate Diploma in Social Science is a program designed to add specialised training in the social sciences to an existing tertiary qualification. The existing qualification need not be in the Social Sciences. The Diploma can be used as an end in itself or to provide a student with the qualifications necessary to enter further study (e.g., an Honours fourth year of study) in a particular discipline. For information on using the Graduate Diploma in Social Science to gain an accredited three-year sequence in psychology, which can then enable you to apply for entry into a fourth year program in psychology.
To be eligible to be considered for a course you must:
• meet the admission requirements of the institution offering the course and
• meet the entrance requirements of the course – some courses have course prerequisites or additional selection criteria.
