The Graduate Diploma of Design (Design Anthropology) course combines anthropological theory and methods with those of design to develop innovative, ethical and holistic solutions to business, environmental, and socio-cultural challenges.
Starting with core skills in research methods and studio design making, it builds disciplinary knowledge in the history and theory of design anthropology and understanding the workings of small corporate and community groups. Students then select a specialisation in either Indigenous Knowledge to facilitate cultural innovations with communities, Cross Cultural Brand Identity Design to align organisational and client values, or Sustainable Design with a focus on cultural sustainability.
