Participants undertaking this Grid Connect Install for Qualified Electricians course will gain the skills and knowledge to plan, configure and install photovoltaic systems safely to the power grid.
The theory and practical components in this course will allow participants to gain pathways that are necessary for accreditation.
Topics covered in this course include:
* Occupational Health and Safety principles
* electrical safe working practice
* photovoltaic power systems
* grid connected inverters.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to connect renewable energy technologies to the power grid according to industry guidelines and approved safety standards. This course also includes the accredited course (MNMG237A) - Work Safely at Heights.
On completion of the course, participants can receive accreditation from the Clean Energy Council (formerly Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE)).
