About the institution
This course is offered fully online and may be taken by any student interested in Human Resource Management. The Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice Administration) programme is a vocational academic programme. It aims to prepare you for professional positions in criminal justice agencies in Australia and overseas and advance promotion of officers employed in those agencies.

Within this vocational curriculum the course Human Resource Management aims to provide you with an understanding of Key concepts of human resource management and their relationship with managing people in criminal justice organisations. It aims to foster an awareness of theories and the relevant legislation associated with human resource management. We aim to assist you to develop a good understanding of why human resource management is an important component for their professional development. You will study of the relationship of job analysis to the major functions of human resource management such as recruitment, selection, training, staff appraisal, equal employment opportunity, industrial relations and occupational health and safety.
