This course is offered as a study of the human form through the discipline of drawing. Working with live models, students will start with the principles of drawing and develop these skills by experimenting with a range of techniques and approaches to the form. Paper: 5 large sheets of cartridge and 15 large sheets of newsprint, Pencils: 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B, Charcoal: willow, Pastels: burnt umber, red oxide and white oxide, Kneadable Rubber and Blade (used for sharpening), Drawing Board (to rest drawing paper) and 2 bulldog clips.
