About the institution
This course provides an opportunity for professionals to extend their expertise in counselling theory and practice. It will expand your knowledge and awareness of:

* psychological theory relevant to your workplace and interests
* the range of counselling interventions and psychological therapies
* applied knowledge and practical skills through industry based learning and placement

You can specialise in one of two streams: Adult, or Child and Adolescent.

You will gain professional recognition with the Australian Counselling Association.

Please note this course is not designed for students wanting Australian Psychological Society (APS) accreditation.
Admission information:

To qualify for admission to the course an applicant must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree or equivalent.
The applicant must be able to provide academic and professional references. Applicants may be required to attend a selection interview and provide samples of their work.
Take a train to St Albans station or take a local bus. It's 20-25 minutes by car from the city centre.
