The Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory (SIAL) encourages masters research that investigates the culture and practice of contemporary creative production. The Masters programme may be undertaken in a project or thesis mode. As such, modes of investigation may focus on experimental pursuits within the laboratory or take the form of an historical, theoretical investigation. SIAL offers a Masters programem where one third involves research-based coursework. The collaborative research is workshopped on a regular basis.
Applicants wishing to be considered for funded places and scholarships need to submit their application on the prescribed form to the School of Graduate Research no later than the 31 October the next year's commencement.
Applicants applying for research by project (rather than research by thesis) must supply a folio of work or other supplementary material relevant to the discipline. Please contact the School to determine the exact requirements for this folio.
