The Master of Engineering Science programme is a career development and enhancement programme for graduate engineers with opportunities for cross training, re-training and advanced level technical specialisation.
The specialisation in Geoinformation Technology is offered by the School of Surveying and Spatial Information Systems in a range of topics in the area of geoinformation technology, including:
1. Advanced surveying
2. Geodesy and Geopositioning
3. GPS/GNSS technology
4. Image analysis
5. Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
6. Remote sensing
Admission to postgraduate coursework requires a completed undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study from a recognised tertiary institution. Selection is based on academic merit and applicants with a good first degree have excellent prospects of being accepted.
